Just had 2 very long appointments to end the day and I’m so tired, i can’t really feel my face anymore. Waiting for a shuttle back to Penn Station so i can hop on the train and pass oUT for an hour and a half.

I wouldn’t mind hopping into this cruise ship that is behind me, to take me away for a couple of days.

Just found a new and really great line called Dylan & Rose at the show. They have beautiful and sophisticated looks but still keep it young and playful. Just placed an order for Fall! Think Chanel fit blazers with chain link details and chiffon tops with suede details!

Just visited a few of my favorite booths…Ya, C. Luce, RD International and placed some great orders for sweaters for Fall. I’ve always kind of felt I could have done a better job buying sweaters but I’m feeling extremely good about what i found today!

Stopping for lunch now since I never got a chance to grab breakfast: pasta and quinoa and a rock hard cookie. Mmmmm…

It’s about 9:20 and I’ve made it off the train and am waiting on the shuttle bus to take me to the Javits Center where one of the shows I’m going to takes place.

I didn’t have time to stop at the cart to grab coffee and a bagel though because the shuttle was already waiting. They offer free breakfast at the show but once I’m there, I just like to go go go. Oh well, multitasking it is.

The shuttle is always at the same corner, and this is the building I always look.at while waiting to go. The most impressive post office I’ve seen:

Made it to the train station but not without hitting traffic. There was a disabled car on the shoulder of Rt 1 and apparently it became everyone’s business to know what was happening. Guess what, there are professionals on the scene, so it’s not your business!

At least I’m able to catch the express train to Penn Station. Shorter nap time but earlier start. The goal is to get to the Ya! Los Angeles both as early as possible because it quickly becomes a mob scene with flying elbows, hangers yanked right out from in front of you, and clothes being trampled on ground.

I’ll be buying for 3 seasons today: Summer, Fall and Holiday. Yes, I said Holiday! Can’t wait to see what I’ll find.

The train just left the station which means only one thing. Time to go back to sleep.

Up and at ‘em

Just about ready to leave for the train station. Its about 6:25am now. I got up about 20 mins ago and got ready quickly. I find it easy to get up early when I’m doing something fun like taking a trip up to NY. Otherwise, no thank you.

I stayed at my parents house last night.since they live so much closer to the train station. I’m able to sleep in about an extra half hour. Here’s a picture of their dog, doing what he does best.
