Dare to Bare It
Show off that shoulder! Lot’s of Spring/Summer styles are showing a wider neckline that falls just off the shoulder for a bit of sex appeal without that overly obvious something something. We’re loving this look. It’s such an effortless yet lovely look. Even if you still want to lose an extra inch off your waist, we bet that shoulder is looking as good as ever! Check out a few styles we have in the shop below!

Outfit feeling a little blah? JUST BELT IT! This is a great and inexpensive way to change up your wardrobe. A great belt can transform an outfit for you, make you look extra stylish, and make you realize that, “YES! You do have a great figure!”, you just didn’t know how to accentuate those gorgeous curves!
See the before and afters below. While the outfits look great without the accessories, they look even better with a belt.
And with a belt…

Statement Jewelry. It doesn’t always have to be about the clothing. Statement jewelry is a fantastic way of sprucing up an everyday outfit or adding a touch more glam to your party outfit! This is the time of year that sparkle and glitz is allowed all the time. And don’t save the jewelry for only those parties - you can add a bold piece of jewelry to just a plain tee for some unexpected drama. What a fantastic way to be ultra comfy and still look amazing!

Infinity Scarves. Heard of them? If not, you’ll be lovin’ them once you see how versatile they are. We are carrying several colors and styles of them now and will be receiving more this week!
Infinity scarves are just a long tube shaped scarf instead of a strip of fabric. Below you’ll see 4 different ways to wear this scarf. Double it, triple it, wear it as a hood, or loop it through!

How do you transition those summer dresses that you love into Fall? This is a great way to save on money and get more wear out of those pieces that you don’t quite want to pack away yet.
Here are 3 easy ways to do just that!
Lets start with the House Dress by Kensie Girl (now on promo for $40!!!)
1. Add a turtleneck to your look. You want to make sure you have a form fitting turtleneck so that it layers very comfortably under your dress. You don’t want to see bumps and bulges anywhere! Here, we’ve used the Flock Turtleneck by Kensie Girl ($38). This particular style has short sleeves but we’ll also be getting a long sleeve sheer turtleneck by Kensie Girl in just a few days (and only $28).
2. Layer on a blazer. Combining menswear with beautiful dresses is a huge trend going on now, so try it out! We’ve paired the House Dress with the Colbert Blazer by BB Dakota ($68 - a very versatile item, as mentioned in our original post) This is a very polished look and great for the office or out for the weekend.
3. Lastly, just add a cardigan! Cardigans are huge now, with popular lengths hitting just above the hip or mid thigh. You can belt the whole look for a really great outfit or just go casual and let it flow. In the picture on the far right, we’ve used the Fly Cardigan ($42).
So don’t pack it all up just yet. Come to nich and find some great layering pieces that will really make sure you get your money’s worth on everything you buy!

Plaid flannel! Channel your inner Kurt Cobain/favorite Seattle grunge band of the 90’s. Only we’re going more fitted and more flattering. And the fashion industry is using it in a few different shapes now…be it a flannel blouse, tunic, or just body hugging. They’re also adding ruffles, belts and embelishments.

Lets talk about the Boyfriend Blazer. This is a really hot look now. It’s pays homage to the 80’s but styles now have a much more modern fit and look. Wear this menswear inspired piece in a number of ways. You can wear it over something as simple as a long, plain tank top to something more feminine, such as a ruffle blouse or shimmery top.
Balance is key with this piece, so you definitely want to pair it with something skinny on the bottom. For example, try it out with leggings or skinny jeans. For a more daring look, wear it with a hip hugging mini skirt.
