Nich Boutique & PhillyFABB Donate to MS Society

Nich Boutique and PhillyFABB Donate to MS Society : Nich Boutique recently collaborated with PhillyFABB, a premiere network of Philadelphia Fashion and Beauty Bloggers, at Preakness at the Piazza for MS on May 18, 2013 at the Piazza at Schmidt’s. Together, they donated the party photo booth at the event (from Photobooth Companions), chock full o’ Preakness-style props, and helped raise $$$$ for the National MS Society Greater Delaware Valley Chapter. The check was presented today (Wednesday May 29, 2013) at the National MS Society Greater Delaware Valley headquarters in Philadelphia.

Preakness at the Piazza: Nich Boutique x PhillyFabb

EVENT RECAP

On Saturday May 18, 2013 – Philly gave Baltimore a run for it’s money in PREAKNESS STYLE when a crowd of well-dressed 20-and 30-somethings came to The Piazza at Schmidt’s for the first annual Preakness at the Piazza for MS, a fundraiser and viewing party of the Preakness Stakes.

To help guest attendees prep for the event, Jessie Holeva from Trend Hungry and Lauren Mantilla from The Style Darling, showcased their PREAKNESS-STYLE in a special photoshoot with Philly-area photographer, Suni Silvan and Boy Gone Blog’s Ian Michael Crumm.  View Nich Boutique’s Preakness-Style looks here!

Girls in hats, guys in bowties: On the night of the event, more than 800 people raised $100,000 for The National MS Society Greater Delaware Valley Chapter & gave Philly a new rep in terms of Triple-Crown partying for a cause!

Nich Boutique was honored to partner with Philly FABB, a premiere network of fashion and beauty bloggers who reside in the Philadelphia area. Together, we donated the party photo booth at the event (from Photobooth Companions), chock full o’ Preakness-style props, and helped raise $$$$ for the National MS Society Greater Delaware Valley Chapter.

Sarah Jessica Parker who wore Giles, Christian Louboutin boots, a Philip Treacy headpiece, and Fred Leighton jewelry was Kristy’s pick for best dressed.  Why? “The strong, powerful, no bullshit headpiece.  I wanted-over-the-top & inspirational for the Met Gala. Not something to be worn at any other event.  The print dress with the full skirt was both pretty, glam, & a little raw too.”

Cara Delevingne (Courtney’s Pick)

Cara Delevingne in Burberry Prorsum, Genevieve Jones earrings, Eddie Borgo necklace, and Dominic Jones earrings and rings was Courtney’s pick for Best Dressed. Why? “She is THE fashion symbol of rebel-punk, sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll right now. If I painted a picture of what I felt PUNK: CHAOS to COUTURE should look like, this would have been the end result.”

Rooney Mara (Nich Boutique’s Mutual Pick)

Rooney Mara in Givenchy Haute Couture and Jennifer Meyer rings was a mutual choice at Nich Boutique for best dressed at the Met Gala. “The dress, the shoes, the sleek hair, the oxblood lip, fierce dark brow, and almost eery, ghost-like skin completely stole the show.”
